Description
BRP SUB Mount Assembly 2017-2026 AJP PR7
The BRP SUB “Scotts Under Bar” Mount was originally designed for the Honda XR650. Customers report this fits the PR7, NOT TESTED on the PR7 by BRP.
If you are looking for more vibration dampening, the RSA-1000627 should also fit the PR7.
The stabilizer needed for the PR7 is the SDD-4200-40R.
Neither Scotts or BRP make a frame bracket / tower for the PR7. Customer will have to source one or fabricate one.
The SUB Mount setup offers several benefits over a conventional “above bar” stabilizer setup.
- Reduced risk of injury by coming into contact with stabilizer
- Approximately 1″ taller bar position on most models
- Enables you to run a bar pad for 1 more level of protection
BRP is an authorized Scotts Stabilizer Dealer and Service center with an extensive knowledge of stabilizer mounting applications. We have a complete line of stabilizer mounting applications and replacement parts. When it comes to service we offer complete service on all Scotts stabilizers.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- When running a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration you will need to use the 34mm extended link arm and forward mount style tower.
- Using a lower bend bar can often emulate the stock bar height.
- Due to the SUB Mounts increased height, triple clamp style enduro handguard mounts will not work with many bar bends. We recommend running the BRP BMI-9254 Hand Guard Mounts.
