Upper Triple Clamp Installation Instructions
– Support front tire and remove stock upper triple clamp ( Refer to owners manual )
– Install BRP top triple clamp
– Install steering stem washer and nut using a small amount of red loctite and torque to motorcycle manufacturer’s specification.
(refer to owners manual for torque specification)
– Install fork pinch bolts using a small amount of grease or anti-seize. Torque fork pinch bolts to motorcycle manufacturer’s specification (Refer to owner’s manual for torque specification.)
– Install bar mount perches, 12mm bar mount bolt and hardware. At this time, only snug up bar mount bolts, do not torque them down. You will need the bar mounts to be free to align properly with the handlebars.
– Install handle bars. Install top bar clamps and 8mm bolts using a small amount of grease or anti-seize. Tighten top bar clamp bolts evenly to achieve equal spacing between the bar mount perches and top bar clamps. (Refer to owner’s manual for torque specifications.)
• Rubber mounted bar mounts: Torque 12mm bar mount bolts to 25-28 lb/ft.
• Solid mounted bar mounts: Torque 12mm bar mount bolt to 35-40 lb/ft
• Re-torque all bolts after first ride to ensure tightness. Make sure to check the torque of all triple clamp, bar mount, and fork pinch bolts as part of your routine maintenance.
Lower Triple Clamp Installation Instructions

BRP highly recommends that you have your triple clamps installed by a qualified, professional mechanic. Removal and installation of the steering stem and bearing should be done, only, by a qualified mechanic with the proper tools. Failure to do so can cause damage to the steering stem and/or triple clamp assembly, resulting in serious injury or possible death. Any improper methods of installing or removing steering stem will void any and all implied warranties and will release BRP, Billet Racing Products L.L.C. from any and all liability.
