BRP designed the Kove aluminum gas cap to address a critical issue. As it turns out the stock gas caps have an issue that causes vapor lock which in turn causes engine stalling.
This pressure build up can also damage or crack your fuel tank. Our billet aluminum caps have a breather hole that offers sufficient ventilation and prevents this from happening. We recommend using a Vent Breather with our caps, especially when using your cap on the rear tank.
Our billet aluminum caps are CNC machined to fit perfectly. They are available in gray or black anodize to protect them from the elements.
