SPECIAL NOTES: There are two different kits that we offer and it is very important that you select the correct triple clamp for your bike.

The Black or Orange Anodized Billet Triple Clamp models require additional hardware to ensure adequate clearance between the frame bracket and the hardware on the bottom side of the triple clamp. The SX/SXF/XC/XCF models come with billet black or orange anodized triple clamps. 

The Forged – Cast Triple Clamp, typically the EXC & XCW (Except Factory Edition, Hard Enduro & 6 Days). These models do NOT need the additional hardware.

The Scotts Above Bar Bolt on Tower is an integral part of the stabilizer application. It is the critical connection between the stabilizer and the frame of the motorcycle. This is an Above Bar bolt-on tower that will pair perfectly when running your Scotts Stabilizer above the handlebars. Bolt on towers are available for most late model bikes.

Scotts Performance Above Bar Bolt on Towers are precisely engineered and manufactured from an aircraft grade aluminum alloy to fit each application perfectly for an easy bolt-on assembly. The grey type 2 anodizing process is a strong and durable finish that should last the lifetime of the motorcycle.

SOME SCOTTS BOLT-ON TOWERS MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL FILING OR DRILLING TO ENSURE PROPER TOWER FITMENT. Most applications are a simple install for any novice mechanic. Some bolt-on towers require additional hardware in order to mount properly. Some models you may need to use special rubber cones, special bar mount hardware or indexing the bar mount bolts to provide the proper clearance between the tower and the bar mount hardware. All towers come with complete step by step installation instructions. The tower pin should be free floating so be sure to clean and lube it regularly.
