BRP Battery Disconnect | Aprilia Tuareg 660

The one common issue with the Tuareg is the battery going dead after a week or two of sitting. There appears to be a parasitic draw on the battery from the built in security system. One solution is to buy a Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Tender which can be pricey or you can disconnect the battery when the bike is not in use, but that’s kind of a pain. We installed a simple battery disconnect on the Ground terminal that works by turning the knob on the disconnect mechanism. This will keep your battery from going dead while in long term storage, its easy to use, and very cost effective.
